De benenboot (Swiming boat), collaboration with Lesse Melijn and several performers - 2024

Made for the BoschParade 2023. By pulling on the ropes the legs of the boat will move. This mechanical system is the motor of the boat and representates the breaststroke. Costumes made by Lesse Melijn are painted with organs and vains. The ropes of the boat are an extension of our body.
